It took hard work and determination along with careful management to make O’Keefe Ranch one of the most successful in the history of British Columbia. Grain, hay and livestock production were all incorporated to ensure the Ranch was a thriving and viable operation.

Cornelius O’Keefe along with Thomas Greenhow brought cattle to this great valley and settled here. The foundation of the O’Keefe Ranch was livestock; the very reason for its existence. Achieving the vision of the “getting back to our roots” could only be made possible by allowing the ranch to once again become a working ranch. It is my conviction that in doing so, we can achieve a threefold purpose.
